The Carsick Chronicles
(Middle Grade Novel)
The Carsick Chronicles follows eleven-year-old Meghna Rajardins, her little brother, Nikhil, and their four grandparents on an epic family trip from Maine to Florida. With each figurative bump in the road, each literal hairpin curve to navigate, Meghna feels queasier about her summer road trip, especially with a big cross-country move for her entire family on the near horizon. Stuck in the backseat, life feels out of her control and completely unfair! Add a magical creature that crashes their road trip and life gets messier for everyone! Grady, a troublesome imp stowaway, makes their road trip bumpier than a roller skating rink on the moon. Grady can’t help it. Trouble with a capital "T" is written into an imp’s job description. He's a centuries-old fugitive from Deep Earth, a molten realm where malevolent creatures are planning a coup to claim power above the Earth’s crust. Can a mischievous green imp and two kids destroy the evil oozing from the Earth’s depths and still make it to Florida in one piece?

The Three Cheeses Run Wild!
(Chapter Book; Ages 7 - 10)
Fern, Enzo, and Wulfred are on the run or, in some cases, on the roll. Our heroes are three wheels of gourmet cheese. Escaped from the dingy confines of a cheese cave, they have one goal: survive a grueling journey across the imposing Mt. Tremble Wilderness Area. Will they make it to a safe haven or end up melted, grated, or devoured by Mother Nature's many hazards? These three heroic dairy products battle shady wilderness critters, ravenous grizzly bear patrols, and a slimy swamp monster. Can they survive all this together and become friends in the process?

Inspired by one of my favorite comedic movies, Peter Bogdonavich's What's Up, Doc?, this picture book is short on words but full of a fun-loving and anarchic style all its own.
